United Kingdom:
Johnson called for the supply of weapons to Ukraine to help protect Odessa, The Times reported on
April 3, citing its sources.
According to The Times, Johnson told ministers he wanted to supply Ukraine with anti-ship weapons
to prevent Russian troops from attacking Odessa, just as British anti-tank missiles were used to stop
the attack on Kyiv.
Britain is looking for ways to hand over Brimstone anti-ship missiles to Ukraine, Johnson said
The missile manufacturer claims that they can be used against fast-moving land and sea targets.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson stated that the World Bank is looking for
ways to transfer Brimstone anti-ship missiles to Ukraine. In particular – to install them on vehicles,
reports Reuters.
“One of the systems we’re looking at is to see if we can put a few Brimstones on the back of the
hardware to see if it works,” Johnson said.
According to him, the British side is also considering other options.
According to Defence Express, the term “technical means” does not mean specialised technical
transport, but light vehicles with weapons. For example, when a large-calibre machine gun is installed
on a pickup.
This is exactly the idea with Brimstone that is currently being discussed in London. After all, the main
problem in supplying weapons to Ukraine from the West is that both sides have incompatible
weapons systems.
Earlier, British troops used Brimstone in Libya and Syria. Missiles are usually launched from jets.

weapons was reported by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence.
“Ukraine’s conflict could be protracted, and the country depends on international support to counter
Russian aggression. Therefore, the government has decided to hand over the Mistral air defense
system to Ukraine,” said Defence Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.
According to him, the Mistral SAM has been withdrawn from the Norwegian Armed Forces, but it is
“an effective weapon used in the Navy and will be very useful for Ukraine.”
It is also noted that earlier the Norwegian government decided to transfer a total of 4,000 anti-tank
missiles and several types of defense and other military equipment.
